This is a vintage 1950s dress with a crossover front bodice, creating a V neckline. It has classic mid-century style short dolman/kimono sleeves with angled cuffs. It has a full skirt that sits at the natural waist. There is a small side pocket on the right side seam. The imitation silk fabric features a feather print in pink and black on a grey background. Chain stitch belt loop on right-hand side but missing on the left. Metal side zipper to fasten. Unlined.

The main condition issue with this dress is in the armpit/ sleeve areas. Repair stitches have been made here where the fabric is damaged/ torn.
Right sleeve cuff has tears in fabric. Stitches loose on the waist seam. Discolouration in a few areas. Repair stitches made in a 1cm area on the left side of the bodice, just behind the crossover; looks like there may have been a snap fastener or hook here. Left side belt loop missing.
